Koda supplies and fits safes for storing cash, valuables, data or documents.
It is essential that you select a safe with the appropriate rating for your requirements and that it meets with the approval of your insurance underwriter - A professionally fitted safe will often reduce your insurance premiums as well as providing peace of mind.
Koda is an independent safe retailer providing a full range of floor, wall and document safes. We recommend that all safes weighing less than 1000Kg are securely anchored within your premises.
Security Safes
Security safes are designed to protect your cash and valuables from theft. Some also protect from fire.
We supply and fit ungraded safes which are not formally tested but can provide the required level of protection and formally tested and certified safes which are manufactured to the EN 1143-1 and are graded to universally recognised classifications.
Data Safes
Increasingly magnetic data (discs, tapes, cartridges etc.) is integral to the success of our businesses yet it is vulnerable and should be stored away from heat, dust, water and light.
Magnetic media can be damaged at temperatures as low as 52°C whereas paper begins to be damaged at 175°C? Data safes are specially designed to protect all types of magnetic media in the event of a fire.
Fire Resistant Paper and Document Safes, Cupboards and Cabinets
Paper based documents can be protected in fire resistant paper safes, cupboards and even filing cabinets.
Select your fire resistance protection which is measured in time the contents can withstand a fire – generally 30 minutes, 60 minutes or 120 minutes.
Koda recommends that your underwriter approves your safe selection prior to installation to ensure maximum protection.
